Grandville travels to Rochester with a team recovering from the flu bug. They dress only 17 players and gut it out for a hard fought 1-0 win. Grandville gets a goal early in the third from Andy Grypma with assists from Ian Straayer and Chance Fischer. Ryan Wysocki makes 40 saves including a " Sports Center Top 10" glove save with 30 seconds to go in the game to seal the win. Freshman goalie Ian Mercer makes 5 saves for Rochester in the loss.

And Grandville cancelled at Shores Friday night due to "weather"?
I believe the district cancelled the game due to weather. The fact that either school had clases on Friday was amazing. Quit your frickin whining. I guess your school lost this weekend.
Not whining, just curious. Can't drive to Muskegon but can travel to Rochester less than 24 hours later?
Which part of the above don't you understand. The "district" cancelled - which the team has no control of. All of the games outside of the area were cancelled!
Wow, get up on the wrong side of the bed this morning? Lighten up, I said I was just curious. Better yet, grow up.
Lighten up Francis. He meant you no harm.
So Grandville was outshot 40-6 and still picked up the W? or did the kid who got the loss get hurt or pulled after 6 shots?
played the whole game.Just let 1 in.
I doubt Ian Mercer would get pulled, he's a sick tender.
