Forest Hills N/E 7 Rockford 3

Forest Hills Northern/Eastern jumped out to a big lead with four goals in about three minutes during the first period, but watched Rockford claw back to cut it to 4-3. Then Luke Swardenski took over. The junior defenseman sniped Rockford goalie Forrest Andrus on the powerplay at the end of the second period, then added two more goals in the the third to complete the natural hat trick in an impressive 7-3 win for FHNE. For the game, Swardenski had four goals. Ben Biondo, Jake Sedelbauer and Robby Bengel also had goals for Forest Hills. Rockford got goals from Shea Mills, Adam Hoard and Tyler Hall. FHN/E's Sean Winks picks up the win with 18 saves.
