Looks like a hat trick of Michigan high schoolers will play hockey in the Soo next season. Recent Cadillac grad Mickey Malmborg will join the new Soo Eagles team of the NOJHL next season, joining Big Rapids' d-man Nick Goodfellow and Grandville blueliner Tom Lorenz. Malmborg plans to attend Lake Superior State University in the fall.

John Dery from grcc has signed with the green mountain glades in vermont. The team plays out of the highly scouted eastern junior hockey league. Congrats to all the highschoolers moving on to the next level. Its good to see more and more michigan highschoolers playing at the next level.
