On days like today, I'm glad my son plays for a team. It makes choosing which game to be at easier (kind of). Actually, I'll probably start out at the Kentwood, then run over to Griff's for GRCC vs. Mattawan, and then head south for Hudsy vs. Rockford. A full itinerary of hockey for one last Saturday this season.
Traverse City West vs. Marquette (1:30 p.m. @ Lake Superior State)
Traverse City Central vs. Midland (3 p.m. @ Alpena/Northern Lights)
East Kentwood vs. Howell (4 p.m. @ Kentwood)
Grand Rapids Catholic Central vs. Mattawan (5 p.m. @ Griff's)
Cadillac vs. Saulte St. Marie (7 p.m. @ Gaylord)
Mona Shores vs. Portage Central (7 p.m. @ Wings Stadium)
Hudsonville vs. Rockford (7 p.m. @ SouthSide)

well, 2 cents worth here.. I've been watching Kwood all season, (as much as I could) and I did go to both Mona games and noticed that Kwood played 10-11 guys just about all game long, where Mona played more. As you can see from the score, it looks like Kwood was sloppy near the end. Howell is a fast team and Kwood should be able to keep up with them. Have fun both teams, and good luck... (IMO)
What??? You're not going to make it up to Lake State for that game? Just kiddin!
Thank goodness for the "Ravin' Reporter" who will cover the Shores game.
Good luck to all the teams playing tonight....work hard and have fun.
ek beat howell 3-0.
PC beat Mona 4-1.
rockford over hudsonville 2-1. good pace, but difficult to watch overall.
The boys in blue from the lakeshore just couldn't pull one out tonight. Good luck PC; great team and great coaching. Watch out for a knock em, sock em game from Forest Hills N/E.
