WO scored just 59 seconds in on a tally from Desmond Morgan (assists to Jed Grooters and Matt Jaiven). Grooters added a goal just 53 seconds later, and then Kevin Holt added a goal to put West Ottawa up 4-1.
The WO team turned it on in the third period, with goals from Andrew Dubeau, David Broome, Holt and Grooters. South Christian got a late goal from Eric Veeneman (assist to Van Vliet) but by then, the damage was done. Tyler Stokes got the win in net for West Ottawa.
West Ottawa face off against West Catholic tomorrow night in the finals, a rematch of Monday's non-conference game. West won that one 3-2.
