MCC wins tourney

Congrats to Muskegon Catholic Central, which won its own MCC tourney, with a 7-0 cruise through the finals against Oxford. Northview nipped Wayland 4-3 in the consolation game. There's some coverage of the tournament on the Muskegon Chronicle's MLIVE site.

thats amazing...
no goals scored the whole tourny on the amazing mcc goalies.

Not only did their goalies play well, but the defense stepped up even though they were missing 2 of their top defensemen due to injuries. Kendro, Kampenga and Williamson really showed what they are made of. Also, the forwards work hard on both ends of the ice. There were 3 forwards missing due to illness or injury. All in all, are great weekend for a depleted Crusaders squad. Guy get well and good luck against West Catholic on Tuesday at Lakeshore at 6:00 pm.

Oxford? They're usually strong in sculling and cricket. They swing a wicked wicket.
