BR's Goodfellow to NOJHL

Looks like recent Big Rapids grad Nick Goodfellow is heading to Saulte St. Marie next year to play for the new Junior A team called the Soo Eagles. My Big Rapids blogger sends this update:

"Nick a two year defensive player is known for his intensity and pure love of the game. Nick is a fierce player with excellent “all around “skills and should provide an immediate impact to this newly developed team. His former teammates from Big Rapids call him “Deeds”, taken from the Adam Sandler movie “Mr. Deeds”. His new team is located in the Soo and the word on the street is that they will be playing in the historic Pullar Ice arena in SSM Michigan. (If you have never been to SSM and the Pullar Arena, you need to make the trip – it’s truly hockey history at its best.) The NOJHL is a Junior A league based in the providence of Ontario, CANADA. Coach Paul Theriault will be pleased with this West Michigan product as “Deeds” is introduced to NOJHL. His family coaches and wish him well…and “Walter” too!"
