Brackett, Janecyk make Team Michigan

Looks like GRCC seniors Clayton Brackett and Adam Janecyk will be traveling to Chicago to play as part of Team Michigan. They were the only West Michigan players selected to the team, which includes seniors from around the state and plays in the National High School Hockey Showcase April 16-20.

Should be some interesting conversations in the locker room and some spirited practices for Janny, who'll be teaming with two kids who scored game-winners against him in two of his best-played games this season: Carson Curran of Flint Powers, which beat GRCC 1-0 in the quarters, and Steven Brancheau of Wyandotte, who got an OT winner in the East-West Invitational.

Congrats to both Cougar players and good luck in Chicago!
