Portage Central vs. Kalamazoo Blades (7 p.m. @ Wings) - The finals of the SWMHSHL tournament should prove pretty interesting as it matches regular season league leader Portage Central against a surprising Blades team, which beat Portage Northern in OT to make it to the 'ship. The Blades are, no doubt, seeking a large measure of revenge, after Portage Central mercied them 8-0 in the last meeting between the teams. It was an ugly game, according to reports, and Blades scoring star Scotty Simmons got DQ'ed before it was over. Expect a much closer, hotly contested game tonight at Wings. The SWMHSHL hands out its regular season awards following the game.
Lowell-Caledonia vs. West Ottawa (8 p.m. @ The Edge) -- The stakes in this game are high: If L/C wins, it wins the Tier 3 crown. If West Ottawa wins, they share the crown. The first matchup between these two teams featured the best hitting and physical play I've seen in a game this year. The question tonight will be how well the Panther's stingy defense can do against the explosive offensive of L/C.
Reeths Puffer vs. Kenowa Hills (7 p.m. @ Walker) -- Kenowa Hills needs a win to have a chance at the Tier 2 title, while Reeths-Puffer is determined to finish strong and end up in second place, their title chances having been eliminated. Both seem to have broken out of the funk they were in a few weeks ago, particularly Kenowa, which has found its scoring touch again. Bottom line on this one is goaltending.

kenowa has to win. period. they have not been playing good recently. they were extemely hot, now they are just another team. if they didnt have zac "fuzzy" smith, thier goalie, they wouldnt even be in the title shot. they must beat puffer tonite and fhc on friday to win the title. then they play cc in the first round of playoffs. they better get theier act together..and fast!!
