Have heard from a few coaches, who just returned from the OK Conference meeting where the tiers for next year have been set. The following are the tiers that were sent to me, though they have not been confirmed with the OK Conference itself. Tiers as follows:
Tier I
East Grand Rapids
East Kentwood
Forest Hills Central
Forest Hills Northern
GR Catholic
Mona Shores
Rockford
Tier II
GR West Catholic
Grandville
Hudsonville
Jenison
Kenowa Hills
Lowell-Caledonia
Reeths Puffer
Tier III
Grand Haven
GR Christian
GR Creston-Central
GR Union-Ottawa
Northview
South Christian
Wayland
West Ottawa

you will probably see creston/central and ottawa/union try to merge. both teams are losing a lot of seniors and probably dont have a lot of freshmen coming in..
I think that would be the best move. Creston can not compete in city league or Ok Tier III by themselves. Ottawa/Union shows some promise and could give some Tier III teams a run for their money next season. They should combine the teams for the sake of good competition.
Sad to see Grandville slip in to Tier II....hope they can get back to Tier I ASAP
