Janecyk featured in GR Press

Nice story in today's GR Press about one of the best goalies -- and nicest kids -- in West Michigan: GRCC senior Adam Janecyk. Janny sports a career record of 53-9-2, a .912 save percentage and a 2.02 goals-against average in 64 varsity games, according to the Press, which highlights his decision to forgo juniors to play high school hockey as a senior and try to win a state championship. I won't gush about his skills here, other than to say he's made my son (one of his backups) a better goalie and better Halo player.

not surprising - Adam's a great kid - always says hi to me when we meet, but let's not be amazed at his politeness, he comes from good stock! his parent are awesome. Bob coached one of my kids for a couple years and was a complete gentleman on and off the ice. No wonder their kids Bob, Ross and Adam as such good kids. Congrats Adam and good luck

Nice article! Good Luck to Adam (and the entire Cougar team) in the playoffs. And best wishes, Adam, for whatever the future holds for you after graduation...something tells me you have what it takes to be successful in whatever you choose to do.
