Fox 17 highlights the Janecyks

Former high school hockey player and present FOX-TV sports guy Tim Doty has done up a nice feature story on GRCC's two-time all-state goalie, Adam Janecyk, and his dad, Bob, who played goalie in the NHL for the Blackhawks and the Kings. Bob assesses Adam's skills and he's not just a typical goalie dad saying his kid has a great glove hand -- he's a scout for the Ottawa Senators (and a smart one, too. He scouted former Wisconsin goalie Brian Elliot, who Ottawa drafted. Go Badgers!) Anyway, it's a nice story about Adam and his dad. Bob even laces up his goalie skates to get out on the ice during practice with the Cougars, though he doesn't don the pads.
