Wednesday Night Hockey

Forest Hills Central vs Kenowa Hills (7 p.m. @ Walker) – There's still a lot of OK Conference hockey to be played in Tier 2, but this game is an important one, particularly for Forest Hills Central. The Rangers (2-1-1, 5 points in league play) are three points behind Kenowa Hills (4-0, 8 pts.) in Tier 2. They've been playing very good hockey against some very tough competition over last month, highlighted by a 2-1 win over highly ranked Alpena. Meanwhile, Kenowa Hills has come back from a long layoff over the holidays with excellent wins over FHN/E and Reeths-Puffer. This is the first meeting between the two teams this season, and it seems to be generating some buzz among the hockey folk in GR. Look for a low-scoring game.

Other Wednesday Games
Mona Shores vs Muskegon Reeths Puffer (7 p.m. @ Lakeshore)
Muskegon Catholic Central vs West Ottawa at Edge (8p.m. @ the Edge)
Petoskey vs. Bay City (7:30 p.m. @ Bay City)
