Midland High 4 Hudsonville 0

Hudsonville was back on the ice this afternoon at the Midland Civic Arena to face the Midland High Chemics. The first period was very even with both teams having good opportunities to score but only Midland was able to find the net and take a lead of 1-0 after the first. The second period would see more of the same from both squads. Hudsonville had a couple of power play chances in the second but were unable to capitalize on them. Midland took advantage of a couple of breakdowns in the Eagles system in the second and the Chemics would go to the second intermission leading 3-0. Midland tallied one more goal with less than a minute left in the game, making the final 4-0. Hudsonville returns home to face Lowell/Caledonia on Thursday at 7:30 pm.
