Kenowa uses its typical recipe - timely goals, responsible defense and spectacular goaltending -- to get a quality win in an ugly, penalty-filled game. Andy Vanderklok, Eric Dye and Tyler Truskoski each scored for the Knights and Zac "Fuzzy" Smith made 37 saves to lead Kenowa to a 3-1 win. Matt McSween scored one for Forest Hills in the third, but that's as close as it gets on the scoreboard. The teams piled up 32 penalties and about 100 penalty minutes between them. While there were no fighting majors called, there were two major tussles that resulted in helmets being pulled off and players thrown to the ice. FHNE's Sam Swardenski gets a DQ at the end of the game. Ugly. Pix and scoresheet below. (Actually, it's scoresheets -- plural -- it took two of them to list all the penalties.)

It was definitely an ugly game, but one heck of a performance by Fuzzy. He definitely was the difference in this afternoon's game.
Great pictures! Multiple shots of Kenowa goalie, who definitely was the MVP.
