Wednesday Night Hockey

East Kentwood vs. Kenowa Hills (7 p.m. @ Walker) - Should be a good game between two teams that approach the game similarly. Both rely on excellent goaltending and disciplined play in the defensive zone to keep games close. They also try to make the most of good scoring chances because neither is an offensive juggernaut. Offensively, EK likes to play below the goal line and their powerplay can be deadly. KH is also pretty good in the O-zone, and they have scored more than a few goals this year on breakaways with ESPN Top-10 type finishes. EK has a solid powerplay and KH kills penalties very well. Whoever wins on special teams, wins the game.

Excellent game. Even though I was there, I hope you were too and have a nice write up and photos from it.
