Reeths-Puffer 1 Gibraltar-Carlson 0

RP's coach told me last week that his sophomore goaltender, Eddie Young, "doesn't get enough love." The kid is 4-2 with two wins in OK conference play and boasts a gaudy .945 save percentage through the first five games. Last night, he posted his second shut out of the season as RP won its first of two in the Waterford-Kettering hockey tournament. Joey Sterritt got the game's only goal with five minutes and change left in the third, assisted by Ben Sikkenga and Matt Medema.

The Muskegon Chronicle shows Young and the RP team some much-deserved love in today's online version. The report also includes a summary on Mona Shores.

The summary of the Mona Shores game is incorrect, however.
