Muskegon Mona Shores vs Forest Hills N/E (6:30 pm @ Patterson) – This one could, effectively, decide the Tier 1 title. A win by Mona gives them a huge advantage over 2nd place Forest Hills N/E and nearly kills any chance for Kentwood to catch them. A win by FHN/E, on the other hand, makes things a bit more interesting. Here's the thing: Mona is in kind of a funk lately, and Forest Hills seems to be rebounding after a tough stretch in early January. Both teams can light it up on the offensive end, so this one will come down to defense and goaltending.
Hudsonville vs Muskegon Reeths Puffer (7 pm @ Lakeshore) -- This one should be a pretty simple pre-game speech for Hudsonville Coach Jason Caster and RP Coach Eric Sikkenga: "If we win, we still have a chance at the Tier 2 title. If we lose, it's pretty much over." In short, this is a must-win game if either team wants a chance to catch the streaking Forest Hills Central team. Should be a good one between H'ville's always electrifying offensive juggernaut and RP's usually tough defense and goaltending.
