The SWMHSHL Tournament is scheduled to begin tonight, despite the fact that not all league games have been played because of cancellations. The tournament features the six teams, plus two "guest" teams that play the top two seeds in a tune-up game. What that means is this: regardless of whether PC or PN win or lose, they still move into the next round. Kind of a neat idea that lets the top seeds play and stay sharp rather than giving them a true "sit around and wait" type bye. Anyway, here is the schedule:
Tonight:
Kalamazoo Blades vs. Kalamazoo United (8 p.m. @ Annex)
Mattawan vs Kalamazoo Eagles (6 p.m. @ Annex)
Tuesday:
Big Rapids vs Portage Northern (6 p.m. @ Annex)
GRCC vs Portage Central (8 p.m. @ Annex)

pc is playing grcc now instead of big rapids, unsure as to why.
because pc gets whatever they want in the swmhsl
Big Rapids beats Portage Northern at SWMHSHL Tournament 3 to 2: A well fought game overall, hats off to both teams.
