The opening game of the Muskegon Catholic Central Tournament held at Lakeshore Sports Center had MCC facing off against Northview. MCC blasted the game open with first period goals by Aaron Duplissis, Evan Valk, Adam Pieczynski and Kyle Zeppenfeld. The Crusaders added two more third period goals by Trevor Stever and Pieczynski, with senior netminder Luke Kordecki earning the shutout. MCC outshot Northview 33-11. Muskegon Catholic takes on Oxford in the championship game on Saturday, while Northview will face Wayland in the consolation game. Some Muskegon Chronicle coverage on the game is here.
