Some changes in the rankings this week, especially in Division 2. Two West Michigan teams move down, as Traverse City Central slides to the 8th spot and Mona Shores drops out the top 10 for the first time this season. The dearth of West Michigan teams is a bit discouraging but several of the area's teams -- seven to be exact -- have a chance to showcase their talents this weekend against the state's top talent at the MIHL Showcase in Trenton. A strong performance there could help boost the profile (and rankings) of one or more teams from the left side of the state.
