Getting Started

I've heard several people say the local media don't give high school hockey its due in West Michigan. That's a shame because the players, parents, coaches and fans of the game are among the most devoted (some would say "rabid") of all sports. Seriously, how else would explain people that are willing to start practice in August and finish the season in March? Or take those January road trips for a pair of games across the Mackinac bridge? (Been there. Done that.)
