The Manistee Chippewas hockey squad -- a five team co-op -- has a new hockey coach. Fifty-eight year old Fountain resident John Raatz…will take over for former coach Jeff Patulski, who left the position after his purchase of Muskegon’s IHL hockey team, the Fury. The Chippewa hockey team includes students from Manistee, Ludington, Mason County Central, Hart and Shelby high schools.
