Rockford 6 Lowell-Caledonia 3

Rockford squared off against a very determined Lowell/Caledonia team tonight. With 10 seniors in the lineup for L/C, it was bound to be an excellent game. Score was tied at 1-1 after 1 period. Rams get a goal from Dan Cuickshank while L/C gets one to tie it up by Jordan Steger. Rockford open up a 3-1 lead after 2 with goals by Travis Guest and Tyler Glass. L/C scores 2 to tie it up at 3-3 with 5 minutes left in the game. The Rockford seniors took control of the game in the last few minutes with goals from Glass, Tyler Hall, and and empty netter for the hat trick by Tyler Glass. Adam Hoard chips in 2 key assists in the win.

Special shout out from the Rockford Parents and Players to L/C's Jordan Steger. Jordan proudly wore the Ram jersey for many years in the RHA youth program and him and his family have many lifetime friendships with the Rockford program. Best wishes in the future.

It was refreshing to watch a HS hockey game played the way I think it is supposed to be played. Kevin L. is to be commended for another excellent job officiating. L/C came out playing a tight checking game. They finished their checks and almost finished the season for Rockford.

They played exactly how they were labeled, "HARD HITTERS".

This game proved that L/C is the real deal and can compete at the higher levels. It was a great game by both teams and a fun game to watch.
