AA Gabriel Richard 5 Grandville 4

The final regular season game found the Grandville Bulldogs traveling to the famous Yost Ice Arena on the campus of the University of Michigan. The Dawgs got off to a great start by getting 1st period goals from Andy Grypma , Zach Brouwer and Alex Stickland. The Fighting Irish answered back with a late goal from Matt Kolevar. The 2nd period saw AA Gabriel Richard tying the game with powerplay goals from Jordan Niemann and Billy Hanley. Midway thru the 3rd period AAGR got their first lead of the game when Niemann scored his 2nd goal of the game. However, that lead was short-lived. Grandville captain Andy Grypma scored his 2nd of the game 8 seconds later. The game went back and forth with many end to end rushes, great saves and scoring chances. AAGR forward Shaun Walters scores the game winner with 4 minutes to play. Grandville goalie Nate "LP" Pratt makes 34 saves in the loss and AAGR goalie Colin McMahon makes 21 saves to earn the win.
