Thursday's Game to Watch

Hudsonville vs. Lowell-Caledonia (7:30 p.m. @ Georgetown) -- A non-conference game between the offensive-minded teams that currently occupy the top spots of the OK-2 (H'ville) and OK-3 (L/C). Lowell-Caledonia is on a roll, having won 7 out of their last 8 since getting back three key players in mid-December. L/C is tied for the OK-3 lead after wins over Northview and Wayland by a combined 16-2 score. Hudsonville (11-4), which has a one-point lead in the OK-2 over Reeths-Puffer, is coming off a weekend split in Midland against DOW and Midland High. This one promises to be an offensive explosion, as both teams can score goals in bunches. Whichever goalie plays better -- H'ville's Pete Herman or Low-Cal's Corey Phillips -- likely wins the game.

L/C also did not have all their kids playing due to injury. Hudsonville's goalie did a great job.
