OK Conference Standings

Here are the updated standings for the three OK Conferences. Lowell-Caledonia Varsity Hockey Coach Mike Ballard, who compiles the standings and sends them out to the local media, sent this note: "Here is the updated and corrected O.K. Conference Standings. The changes had to do with the O.K. Conference final ruling that If a game ends in regulation and no OT is played each team gets 1 point. If a game is tied at the end of regulation and an overtime is played and the overtime ends tied each team gets one point but if a team scores in OT then the scoring team gets 2 points for a win and the other team receives 0 points and a loss."

Thanks to Coach Ballard for his efforts to keep us all up to date and to promote high school hockey in West Michigan. Double click on the image below for a supersized look at the standings.

It seems that EK ended up sharing a conference championship after beating them twice in overtime and Shores getting a point in each game that ended in a tie after regulation. Did the rules change again?
