Friday Night Hockey

Kind of a light schedule for a Friday night, and unfortunately games are packed together time-wise, so I'll only be able to catch one game tonight. Two key OK Conference matchups tonight, including the rescheduled Kentwood-Grandville game from a few weeks ago and one between two leaders in the OK-2, which is where I'll be at. Meanwhile, up in the great north, the TC teams continue to earn their high rankings against tough competitors.

Muskegon Reeths Puffer vs Hudsonville (7 p.m. @ Georgetown) -- Early last month, Hudsonville (9-3) played four consecutive league games over a two week span and came up 3-1, the only loss coming in a thriller versus Kenowa Hills. That stretch has put them atop the OK-2 leader board, but just two points ahead of Kenowa and Reeths-Puffer, who are both 2-0 in league play. And Reeths-Puffer (4-3) starts its own stretch of league play tonight, with five OK-2 league games between now and February 1st. In short: this game matters.

Other Friday Action
TC West vs. Marquette (5:30 p.m. @ Marquette Tourney)
East Kentwood vs. Grandville (7 p.m. @ Southside)
TC Central vs. Alpena (7 p.m. @ Howe)
Kalamazoo Blades vs Wayland (7 p.m. @ Southside)
Jenison vs. Lapeer West (8 p.m. @ Polar Palace)
Creston-Central vs. Ottawa-Union (8 p.m. @ Griff's)
