L/C opened the scoring at 7:00 minute mark of first with a 5-on-3 PP goal by Justin Story and followed 15 seconds later with a 5-on-4 PP goal by Jordan Steger. L/C went on to out shoot Northview 37 to 13 in a two period mercy game lead by Drake Chittenden who had 1 goal and 3 assists. L/C netminder Corey Phillips stopped 13 of 13 for the shut out.

The 8-0 win, combined with yesterday's 7-2 victory over Wayland, has caught the attention of the Grand Rapids Press, which reports on L/C's two-day scoring ouburst here.
