Kind of a light schedule tonight, though there are a few good league matchups. Also, the second bracket of the Griff's Holiday Tournament kicks off tonight, with the following teams: Kenowa Hills, Ottawa-Union, Manistee and Muskegon Catholic Central. (BTW, congratulations to West Ottawa, which won the first bracket of the tournament with a 3-2 win over West Catholic last night. South Christian beat Northview 3-1 in the consolation game). My plan for the evening is to start off over at Griff's and then head over to Patterson, where there are a pair of OK Conference matchups going on simultaneously tonight. If you're at either rink, please say hello and, as always, feel free to share any comments, feedback or insults you have about the Blog.
Kalamazoo Blades vs. Grand Haven (6:30 p.m. @ Wings Annex)
Portage Central vs. Traverse City West (7 p.m. @ Howe Arena)
East Grand Rapids vs. Forest Hills N/E (8 p.m. @ Patterson)
Lowell/Caledonia vs. Wayland (8 p.m. @ Patterson)
Mattawan vs. Saint Mary's Catholic Central (TBD @ Monroe)
